Ryu joins the Funko Pop lineup as #137, the wandering karateka at the center of Street Fighter since the series began. The figure captures his familiar look: the sleeveless white gi, the worn belt, and the red headband that most players associate with him, rendered in Funko's stylized vinyl form with the oversized head and wide eyes.
For Street Fighter collectors, Ryu is the natural anchor of a fighting game shelf, and the red headband version is the one most people picture when they think of the character. He sits comfortably alongside other entries in the Games line, whether displayed boxed or out with the rest of the World Warriors.
