Pikachu takes the number 353 slot in Funko's Pokémon line, here rendered with a silver metallic finish rather than the usual yellow. The familiar pose is intact, tail raised and cheeks marked, so the appeal is in the treatment: a reflective chrome-style coat that shifts under light and picks up the shape of the sculpt in a way flat paint doesn't.
Pikachu has been the face of Pokémon since the series began, and the character has become one of the most collected subjects in the Pop line. Metallic variants tend to be a distinct target for shelf builders working on a Pokémon run, since they read differently next to the standard releases.
