Cassandra Webb debuted in Marvel comics in 1980 as Madame Web, a blind clairvoyant and telepath whose visions have guided Spider-Man through more than one crisis. She's usually drawn as an elderly woman seated in a web-shaped life support chair, which makes her one of the more unusual picks in the Marvel Pop lineup and a nice counterweight to a shelf full of costumed heroes.
