Kaiju No. 9 joins the Pop Animation line as figure #2253, bringing the shape-shifting antagonist of Kaiju No. 8 into vinyl form. As the intelligent kaiju working against the Japan Anti-Kaiju Defense Force, it makes a natural counterweight to Kafka and the Third Division on a shelf, and the stylized Pop treatment keeps the humanoid silhouette recognizable at a glance.
The figure stands about 4.2 inches tall, slightly above the standard Pop height, and sits well alongside other releases from the series. Collectors building out the Kaiju No. 8 roster will find this one fills the villain slot, whether it stays boxed or goes out on display with the rest of the Animation shelf.
