Cookie Monster takes on his Monsterpiece Theatre persona here, appearing as Alistair Cookie rather than his everyday self. The sketch was a long-running Sesame Street staple, with Cookie Monster hosting classic literature parodies from an armchair and rarely making it through an episode without eating something he shouldn't have. Fans of the show's sillier, more literary corners will recognize the look immediately.
This is Pop #1609 from Funko's Pop! Animation line, and the vinyl figure stands about 4 inches tall. It fits alongside other Sesame Street Pops for anyone building out the Muppet side of a shelf, and works just as well on its own as a nod to one of the show's better-known running bits.
