Funko marks three decades of Marvel's Merc with a Mouth with Nerd Deadpool, a stylized vinyl figure from the Deadpool 30th Anniversary line. Wade Wilson trades the usual mercenary swagger for a bookish look, which fits a character who has never taken his own mythology all that seriously. It stands about 3.75 inches tall.
The figure arrives in a window display box, so it can be shelved sealed or opened for display alongside other Marvel Pop! figures. Recommended for ages 4 and up. A reasonable pick for Deadpool collectors working through the anniversary assortment, or anyone who prefers their Pop! shelf to lean toward the comedic side of the Marvel roster.
